Job summary

Electra USA is a leading electromechanical contractor in the New York market, delivering high-performance systems across commercial, transportation, infrastructure, and mission-critical sectors with 1100+ employees. The Project Executive will lead a portfolio of concurrent construction projects, guiding Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.

You will own schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships, combining hands-on oversight with strategic planning and senior stakeholder

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent industry experience.
• 12+ years of construction project management in electrical contracting.
• Experience with multi-project portfolios and full P&L accountability.
• Strong executive presence and client/stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in project scheduling and document control tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Project Managers and Senior PMs across multiple projects.
• Ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery across the portfolio.
• Own financial performance including revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to monitor progress and risk.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Lead change orders, claims, and contractual issues when needed.
• Support business development, proposals, and pursuit decisions.
• Oversee resource allocation and staffing with Operations leadership.
• Ensure safety standards and Job Hazard Analysis compliance.
• Mentor and develop project leaders within the portfolio.
• Present portfolio performance and forecasts to executives.
