Job summary

JTI in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical construction projects. You will supervise field operations through several superintendents, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget performance while driving bids, cost estimation, and profitable project execution.

Responsibilities include developing bids, reviewing contractual requirements, interfacing with clients, managing change orders, invoicing, and mentoring a team of 5–20.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical construction projects from bid to completion.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and change order management.
• Proven ability to lead 5–20 reports and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate bids or estimates to ensure we win long-term partnerships, meeting margin expectations.
• Review contractual requirements and design methodology for projects.
• Directly supervise field operations through multiple superintendents to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Drive growth via business development, client interface, and promoting JTI’s services.
• Monitor quality, project completion, and cost adherence; review and inspect work.
• Coordinate with accounting to bill per terms and manage change orders.
• Travel to job sites as needed and support training for leadership and staff.
