Job summary

MasTec Communications Group in Houston seeks an Electrician II to contribute to construction projects, read blueprints, and manage materials and budgets while upholding safety and quality. You will guide teams, estimate needs, and ensure timely delivery on client sites.

You should bring a Texas Apprentice Electrician license and hands-on experience with 24VDC/48VDC systems, project scheduling, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Safety is a part of your day-to-day and you follow established guidelines.
• Texas Apprentice Electrician license is required.
• 3+ years of industry trade experience with hands-on field work.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform cost estimates.
• Experience with project management scheduling software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Read blueprints and perform estimates for new work.
• Manage material, labor, and electrical projects and control costs.
• Oversee site acquisition, engineering, and construction in compliance with policies.
• Enforce quality and safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare scope of work with pricing, resources, and schedule.
• Manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, and project close-out.
• Coordinate with clients to identify opportunities for additional deployments.
