Job summary

Jobot and our client are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to oversee field operations on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects in the Southwest. You will serve as the primary link between field teams and project leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

You’ll lead crews, coordinate resources, mentor electricians, and help deliver complex electrical projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews on commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience coordinating manpower, scheduling, and field operations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, and field personnel across multiple project phases.
• Manage day-to-day field operations while maintaining productivity, safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials to maximize project efficiency.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Plan and oversee electrical installations from layout through final inspection.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and electrical codes.
• Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Mentor and develop field employees while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to successful project execution.
• Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional customer service throughout every project.
