Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced project leader to oversee a portfolio of electrical projects, coordinating CAD/structural and electrical design packages from inception through post-delivery.

The role emphasizes change and quality management, schedule discipline, and close collaboration with procurement, shop supervisors, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business management or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Electrical background or PM on manufacturing/industrial electrical projects preferred.
• SolidWorks familiarity preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of electrical projects from inception to post-delivery.
• Coordinate design packages with CAD/Structural teams and Electrical Design Packages.
• Lead change and quality management with feedback and precise redlines.
• Monitor lead times and schedules with purchasing to manage non-stock items.
• Coordinate production, delivery, and site logistics with shop and field teams.
• Serve as primary liaison for post-delivery service issues and tickets.
• Prepare and issue change orders with updated pricing and scope.
