Job summary

nVent is seeking engineers to join a dynamic global team delivering inventive electrical solutions. You will review quotes and proposals, develop project design schedules, and coordinate activities across civil design, steel fabrication, and meetings.

Travel to customer sites for technical evaluations and field measurements may be required. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and have 1–2+ years of design experience, with hands-on skills in drafting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 1–2+ years of engineering or design experience preferred.
• Proficient in drafting and 3-D modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to confirm design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing.
• Develop project design schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate design activities including civil design, steel fabrication, and project meetings.
• Travel to customer sites to conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations, and assist with field measurements when needed.
• Review customer and internal drawings to ensure compliance with specifications; identify corrections as needed.
