Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial power systems.
• Experience designing VFD systems, motor controls, and power distribution equipment.
• AutoCAD Electrical proficiency for schematic design and documentation.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics for VFD systems and switchgear.
• Develop diagrams and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Prepare design calculations, BOMs, and installation guidelines.
• Perform short-circuit/arc-flash studies per IEEE/NFPA.
• Support procurement, production, QA, and field service during projects.
• Interface with customers to clarify requirements and provide solutions.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (20–30%).
