Responsibilities
Lead engineering, analysis, and design of medium and low voltage power systems for large industrial facilities.
Interpret design drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements to develop calculations, engineering evaluations, and construction deliverables.
Review and prepare electrical drawings including one line diagrams, three line diagrams, block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, plans, and panel or cable schedules.
Conduct site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop practical, cost effective recommendations.
Manage electrical engineering schedules and budgets, coordinate drafters, prepare reports, and perform quality checks on internally and externally produced work.
Develop capital cost estimates for electrical scope.
Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines across offices to support integrated project execution.
Evaluate existing operations and proposed changes for compliance with engineering standards and applicable regulations.
Build and analyze power system models for short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, and arc flash studies using software such as EasyPower, SKM, or ETAP.
Perform lighting design and modeling using appropriate tools.
Qualifications and Skills
Licensed PE in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation preferred.
