Job summary
Energy Drive Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of high‑stakes industrial projects across North America. The role covers design reviews, commissioning, optimisation and final client handover, with a focus on MV/LV electrical systems and VFDs.
You will work with teams across disciplines to ensure safe, efficient project execution to the highest engineering standards, with travel across North America (primarily the Midwest).
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience delivering heavy industrial engineering projects.
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Mechatronics.
- Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems and Variable Frequency Drives.
- Experience with industrial automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or ABB.
- Commissioning and troubleshooting experience within live industrial environments.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel across North America (mainly mid-west).
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of projects involving medium & low voltage electrical systems, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Oversee design reviews, commissioning, FAT/SAT, optimisation and client handover.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient project delivery to high engineering standards.
