Job summary

Continental in Sumter, SC is seeking an Electrical Projects Engineer to budget, procure, install, and start-up electrical projects in the plant, and to assist in troubleshooting equipment within Maintenance.

You will ensure drawings and spare parts are updated, manage capital projects for production justification, coordinate training on new equipment, and monitor installation activities to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related 4 year degree.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
• Project management experience.
• Strong PLC experience in Beckhoff and or Siemens.
• Unlimited and Unrestricted Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Budget, install, procure, start-up electrical projects in the plant.
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting problem equipment within the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure drawings/prints are kept updated and spare parts are set-up.
• Review capital projects for production and financial justification.
• Coordinate production and maintenance training on new equipment.
• Monitor installation activity and ensure project implementation.
