Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lead Electrical/Controls Engineer to head capital projects and plant improvements in a glass manufacturing environment in Richburg, SC. This role aims to maximize uptime and efficiency by overseeing power distribution, automation upgrades, and contractor coordination.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering, experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, and strong PLC/SCADA skills with 15 kV+ high voltage knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering required.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing and power distribution.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA, and high voltage systems (15 kV+).

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects and plant improvements to increase uptime and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical power distribution systems.
• Coordinate with contractors for installation and maintenance.
