Job summary

Continental is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for its Sumter, SC facility. The role focuses on maintaining and operating HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems across the plant, including chillers, boilers, pumps, and water treatment.

You will work with BAS and energy monitoring systems, perform predictive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The position requires the ability to work independently, operate lifts, and participate in TPM/Lean initiatives while

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, mechanical experience required.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, building controls, and computer skills preferred.
• Awareness of applicable safety and environment regulations for plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate chillers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, sensors and piping.
• Operate steam and hot water boilers, pumps, deaerator, RO system, and distribution piping.
• Manage medium voltage distribution, VSDs, MCCs, and electrical wiring basics.
• Perform PMs and predictive maintenance; use SAP for work orders.
• Work independently, use lifts, and apply TPM and Lean concepts.
• Familiarity with BAS and energy monitoring systems, Metasys a plus.
