Job summary

Syensqo is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer at our Piedmont, SC site. You will lead capital project design and execution, oversee external engineering resources, and support maintenance with electrical design input for reliability improvements.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including power systems. Expect collaboration across Production, Process, and Maintenance teams in a chemical facility setting.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (chemical/refinery and PSM preferred).
• Solid history of electrical power experience involving design/installation of low to medium voltage equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ISA, OSHA electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for capital projects from FEL I-III to execution and closure.
• Oversee outside engineering firms and technical specialists to ensure designs meet specs and practices.
• Support Production and Maintenance with electrical design input for reliability and maintenance activities.
