Job summary

Continental in Sumter, SC seeks a skilled maintenance technician to operate and maintain critical plant utility systems, including HVAC, electrical distributions, and BAS/BMS interfaces. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor systems, and support safety and compliance across the Sumter facility.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge, plus the ability to work independently and comply with NFPA and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship.
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate plant utility systems including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Oversee electrical distribution up to 13,800V and related switchgear; monitor BAS/BMS systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and use SAP PM for work orders and data logging.
• Support safety programs and compliance with NFPA standards and environmental regs.
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance and ensure safe operating practices.
