Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Lone Tree, Colorado to design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities. You will take ownership of projects, mentor junior staff, and grow toward technical leadership within a collaborative team.

The role covers planning through construction, with design of power distribution, lighting, instrumentation, and SCADA. Strong communication and willingness to travel are essential as you support municipal and industrial projects across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4+ years of electrical system design experience in water/wastewater or similar facilities.
• Ability to travel for project/client responsibilities and business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional electrical engineering services from planning through construction.
• Design power distribution, lighting, instrumentation & controls, and SCADA.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs.
• Support projects through full lifecycle and manage assigned team members.
