Job description

Electrical Project Engineer - Lone Tree, CO

Design infrastructure that actually gets built. Grow into technical leadership while doing it.

If you’re an Electrical Engineer who wants more than repetitive design work—and instead wants real project ownership, mentorship, and a path to leadership—this is that role. At AE2S, you won’t sit on the sidelines. You’ll design the electrical systems that power water and wastewater treatment facilities across Colorado and beyond, working alongside experienced engineers who are invested in your growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the over-all electrical design process on various projects, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, municipal systems, process industrial facilities, power generation, power distribution, lighting, instrumentation/controls, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration
  • Design power distribution, lighting, instrumentation & controls (I&C), and SCADA systems for municipal and industrial facilities
  • Support projects from planning through construction, gaining full lifecycle experience
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications that translate into real-word systems
  • Learn from senior Electrical engineers while taking on progressively more responsibility.
  • Manage performance of assigned project team members
  • Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
