Job summary

Bergelectric seeks a Project Engineer in Tolleson, AZ to assist the Project Manager from startup to closeout. You will help with bid turnover, review proposals, coordinate materials, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.

The role involves on-site coordination with field teams and subcontractors, plus document control using standard software. You will develop estimates, prepare change orders, maintain drawings, and support project administration while fostering strong vendor and client

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience preparing take-offs and estimates for change orders.
• Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC/NECA codes and TIA standards.
• In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of bid turnover and project startup processes.
• Coordinate materials procurement and review project requirements.
• Maintain documentation records and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Assist in writing quotations, proposals, and project estimates.
• Maintain online project documents using Bluebeam Studio and SharePoint.
• Develop relationships with vendors and clients.
• Support project team coordination with field supervision and management.
