Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a Foreman to supervise electrical installations on active projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor progress, enforce Bergelectric standards, coordinate with general contractors and customers, and manage crew productivity, safety, and quality control on site.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician with 2–4 years of field experience, a current Journeyman Wireman license, and strong knowledge of codes, schedules, materials, and installation methods to ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• Two to four years of field experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must hold a current Journeyman Wireman license (as required by state/city/county).
• Experience ordering and tracking materials, and developing “as-builts”.
• Strong scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Experience in power systems: lighting, fire protection, security and data networks.
• Knowledge of build, installation and maintenance of control panels.
• Comfortable using Electrical Single Line blueprints.
• Experience verifying compliance and functionality of installations.
• Knowledge of fault identification and repair in electrical apparatus and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Bergelectric productivity objectives by managing and assigning tasks to crew members and maintaining a labor log.
• Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching them.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are received per procedures.
• Adhere to project contract changes and Bergelectric change orders.
• Fully utilize prefabrication facilities and company installation methods and policies.
• Ensure safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform work.
• Provide sufficient notice of crew changes to Supervisors.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure crew start/finish times and meals per handbook and local laws.
• Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members.
• Maintain accurate “as-builts” per Bergelectric procedures.
• Communicate with project owners, architects, general contractors and management.
• Ensure all work meets NEC, federal/state/local codes and contract documents.
• Adhere to Bergelectric safety policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership fostering teamwork across responsibilities.
• Monitor crew morale to ensure positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
