Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. in El Paso, TX is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers in planning, directing, and coordinating electrical construction projects from start-up to closeout.

You will assist with submittals, change orders, procurement, cost tracking, and project controls while ensuring work stays within budget and meets safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical construction experience in an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer role.
• BS in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with change orders, submittals, and cost management.
• Strong reading of plans and specifications and knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering studies, change orders, estimating and questions with engineers.
• Prepare submittals and RFIs; manage project documentation and records.
• Support procurement, contracts and billing with project team.
• Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams.
• Maintain project controls, schedules of values and billing mechanisms.
• Ensure safety, environmental policies and quality control on sites.
