Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3 years field experience
• Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2 years field experience
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Electrical engineering principles with mechanical and process techniques
• Ability to research and analyze information and draw conclusions
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Familiarity with electronics, PLCs, and control systems
• Ability to evaluate and implement new methods for operational improvement
• Broad knowledge of national electrical safety standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and guidance for electrical engineering and maintenance projects.
• Review, investigate, and develop recommendations, policies, and guidelines for electrical processes.
• Manage and support small to medium site engineering or maintenance projects.
• Assist Senior Engineer or Area Manager with budgeting and strategic planning.
• Develop working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the area.
• Administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• Support or lead company-sponsored steering committees or task forces.
