Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a client in Welkom. You will manage electrical projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
7+ years in project engineering/management in electrical field.
Experience leading electrical construction projects end-to-end.
Strong project management methodologies and tools knowledge.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with SA electrical standards and safety regs.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor electrical projects aligned with scope and objectives.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for electrical works.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for progress.
Oversee installation and commissioning, ensuring safety compliance.
Conduct site inspections and progress meetings to mitigate risks.
Prepare reports and handover packages for Welkom installations.
