Job summary

The project engineer (PE) performs tasks assigned by the project manager, including tracking submittals, RFIs, and major equipment, as well as document control responsibilities.

This role supports procurement, MOP development, and field coordination, maintaining current drawings, RFI responses, and closeout documentation.

Candidates should have a BSc/BA in construction management or engineering, strong Excel and project tools skills, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in construction management, engineering, or relevant field.
• Basic understanding of electrical construction and materials.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, Primavera P6 & Bluebeam.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Takeoffs, Applications, Recording duties for project bids.
• Maintain document control including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and QA/QC documents.
• Manage closeout documents and status tracking with vendors.
• Assist in project buyouts: takeoffs, RFPs, vendor selection, PO issues.
• Develop and maintain MOPs; track field start dates and access requests.
• Handle labels, payroll support, and office supply coordination.
