Job summary

Dynalectric Arizona is seeking a Project Engineer in Mesa, AZ to support the Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, and document control for electrical, controls, and telecom systems. The PE will help track submittals, RFIs, major equipment, and maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a BSc/BA in construction management or engineering, strong Excel and Bluebeam skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in construction management, engineering, or relevant field experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical construction and materials.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, Primavera P6 & Bluebeam.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Takeoffs (examine project drawings)
• Applications (fill/process permit applications/check request)
• Recording (filing completed permit inspections)
• RFI’s (create/review project RFI’s, communicate changes with field staff)
• Submittals (create/review/request/submit submittals)
• Drawings (ensure current sets and changes are tracked)
• QA/QC documents (track CX documents, provide to QAQC)
• Manage closeout documents (review for accuracy, track documents)
• Major purchases (Takeoffs, RFPs, bid leveling, vendor selection, issue PO)
• Write and manage MOPs, update logs, schedule field coordination
• Create equipment and wire labels; assist payroll and admin tasks
