Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking a Project Engineer based in Ft. Wayne, IN or Toledo, OH to lead high-impact electrical construction projects.

You will coordinate shop drawings, track submittals, and manage schedules with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of project engineering experience in the electrical sector and proficiency in Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst, with a detail-oriented, collaborative mindset to ensure safety, cost

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).
1–2 years of experience in Project Engineering in the electrical sector.
Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst preferred.
Understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and lean construction techniques.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Prioritize Safety: conduct site safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
Own the Details: review and submit shop drawings, track submittals, and build project schedules.
Stay on Track: monitor installed quantities and maintain project budgets.
Drive Efficiency: support cost reporting and assist with estimating functions.
Enhance Communication: generate and manage RFIs for project clarity.
Build Relationships: engage with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Field Support: collaborate with field crews to address design and customer requirements.
Ensure Compliance: verify contract adherence and take on additional tasks as assigned.
