Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC in New Castle, PA, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our New Castle office. You will work on high-impact electrical projects, coordinating with field crews and designers to ensure safe, compliant installations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field with 1–2 years of project engineering experience. Proficiency with Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, and related tools is preferred. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Project Engineering in the electrical sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or ConEst.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics and lean construction techniques.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-starter who can work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize site safety and conduct regular safety audits.
• Review shop drawings, submit submittals, and maintain construction schedules.
• Monitor installed quantities to keep projects on track.
• Support cost reporting, estimations, and financial accuracy.
• Generate and manage RFIs for project clarity and alignment.
• Engage with customers to strengthen relationships and satisfaction.
• Provide field support addressing design and customer requirements.
• Ensure contract adherence and take on additional tasks as needed.
