Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Manchester, NH seeks a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities. You will lead electrical design efforts, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer for our Manchester, NH office. Work Setting

Key Responsibilities


  • Candidate will serve as the lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities.

  • Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines.



Required Qualifications


  • Qualified candidate should have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities.

  • Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.

  • Candidate must also have good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors.

  • AutoCAD experience is a must

  • Professional Engineering License is required.

  • 5-10 years in electrical engineering and design and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering are required.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Revit BIM software and SKM power systems software is desirable.

  • Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
