Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Designer in Urbandale, IA to lead electrical system design for low to moderate complexity building projects and support larger, higher complexity work in collaboration with senior staff.

You will plan budgets, schedules, and design progress, mentor less experienced staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations. The team focuses on higher-education and energy-efficient design aligned with IMEP standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for low to moderate complexity building projects.
• Support larger and higher complexity projects with senior staff.
• Perform analysis and develop detailed designs, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with clients to understand needs and maintain relationships.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and design documentation to meet deadlines.
