Job summary

EC Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator 1 to support construction project management by ensuring accurate documentation and streamlined billing.

You will work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to keep plans, submittals, and pay apps organized, while maintaining compliance with contract requirements. The role emphasizes coordination, multitasking, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of lead administrative experience in electrical construction industry, or related construction admin experience.
• High level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency at the intermediate or higher level in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project start-ups and close-outs.
• Provide front desk relief and additional administrative support as needed.
• Prepare routine correspondence (letters, memos, meeting notes, proposals).
• Create and maintain Bid Tracking Log and subcontract checklists.
• Process insurance, bonds, and billing requirements.
• Assist with RFI's and submittals; maintain documentation.
