Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure offers a 12-week Operations Leadership Development Program summer internship in Electrical Products. The position is based in Fort Worth, TX, with other locations available, and prepares you for a potential full-time two-year rotational program and other entry-level roles.

You will lead hands-on projects, apply LEAN/Six Sigma/Kanban, collaborate across functions, and engage in trainings and networking to accelerate your technical and professional growth.

Qualifications

• This internship is a structured experiential learning program for individuals currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program who will continue their studies following the assignment.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or supply chain majors and must be enrolled as a student at the time of the internship.
• Available to work full-time during standard business hours (40 hours per week) from May 17 through August 6, 2027.
• Must be willing and able to relocate for the summer to any of the listed locations with housing stipend and mileage reimbursement if applicable.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Owning hands-on projects in manufacturing operations, production planning, quality assurance, procurement, or project management.
• Using LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kanban to analyze production processes and implement improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity planning, material planning, and logistics.
• Participating in trainings, mentorship, and networking to support professional development.
