JH Kelly, LLC is seeking an Electrical Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative in Seattle to drive new business and manage maintenance contracts. You will prospect clients, prepare proposals, and close contracts while maintaining strong client relationships.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

Position Description

JH Kelly is seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Electrical Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative who will play a key role in supporting the electrical maintenance department by managing various sales functions, including client prospecting, relationship building, proposal development, contract negotiation, and customer support. This position requires a well-rounded sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance best practices. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and promoting long-term business relationships.

Here’s a deeper dive into what you’ll take on:

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and prospect new clients in need of electrical maintenance services.
• Present proposals and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with their budgetary and operational requirements.
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Relationships: Maintain and foster proactive and positive relationships with customers, within the JH Kelly team, management, crafts, and all project teams.

Assessments & Solution Development

• Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations of clients' electrical systems to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop comprehensive maintenance proposals and service agreements for clients.

Project Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.

Industry Knowledge & Technical Expertise

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively advise clients and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Performance & Reporting

• Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue targets.

Position Requirements

What You Bring

• Experience : Proven track record of sales success in the Electrical or related industry, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience. Strong technical knowledge of Electrical systems and maintenance practices, with the ability to assess and communicate maintenance requirements effectively, is a bonus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels of the organization.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent certification. Technical training, industry certifications, or coursework related to Electrical systems, facilities management, business, or sales is preferred.
• Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting. Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate service solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mindset : Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operations, service, and leadership teams.
• Requirements : Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel to project sites as needed. Ability to work in both office and construction field environments.

Physical Requirements

This field-based position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting site assessments and client visits. Candidates must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as driving, entering data on a mobile device, and carrying equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching are necessary. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential.
