Job summary

The role requires reading specs and drawings, generating itemized costs with Accubid Enterprise and LiveCount Plan Viewer, coordinating with engineers on BIM layouts, and supporting project managers with Change Orders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Estimator.
• Residential & Commercial experience a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of Estimating Software – Accubid Enterprise & LiveCount Plan Viewer.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Attend Pre-Bid Meetings to understand project intent and scope.
• Prepare RFIs to identify conflicts and provide bid clarity.
• Develop itemized costs for labor, materials and subcontractors.
• Navigate client plan rooms to download revised bid documents and addendums.
• Complete estimating tasks within tight deadlines and support Change Orders.
• Coordinate with Engineers on BIM layouts and provide take-off details.
