Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Estimator.
• Residential & Commercial experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and trade drawings.
• Proficient with Accubid Enterprise & LiveCount Plan Viewer.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend specifications and multiple trade drawings to understand electrical requirements for the project.
• Develop itemized costs for projects through breakdowns and take-offs using Accubid Enterprise & LiveCount Plan Viewer.
• Estimate equipment, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs to complete each project.
• Create quantitative counts to develop a Bill of Materials and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotes.
• Navigate client plan rooms to download revised bid documents when addenda are posted.
• Complete estimating tasks under tight deadlines to meet client timelines.
• Mark up drawings with detail notes for architects/engineers and project managers.
• Assist in developing the electrical scope letter for final proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineers on BIM layouts.
