Job summary

Cogentanalytics is seeking an Electrical Estimator to study project plans, evaluate specifications, and develop cost estimates for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors. You will obtain bids, assist in negotiations, and support change orders as needed.

The role requires 4+ years of electrical estimating experience in residential and commercial projects, with proficiency in Accubid Enterprise, LiveCount Plan Viewer, and Bluebeam Revu.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Estimator.
• Residential & Commercial experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications and drawings to determine electrical requirements.
• Develop itemized costs for projects using Accubid and LiveCount tools.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare RFI to resolve bid document conflicts.
• Coordinate with engineers on BIM layouts.
• Support change orders during crunch periods.
• Attend pre-bid meetings to understand project scope.
