Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical Project Manager – Data Center Construction with field experience to support a high-profile data center project in the Fredericksburg area. You will oversee the General Contractor’s activities and report schedule status to the project owner, bringing deep field knowledge and leadership to the team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical project management, data center or electrical contractor backgrounds, and strong skills in governance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction.
• Experience with substation and power distribution systems preferred.
• Familiarity with MEP design and relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the General Contractor’s construction activities and report schedule status to the owner.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and ensure consistent client delivery.
• Analyze and manage critical milestones to avoid schedule slips.
• Ensure governance, processes and systems are applied on all projects.
• Provide cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
• Review status reports, drawings, submittals, timelines and RFIs.
