Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for our Maryland-based commercial electrical contractor team. You will oversee projects from conception to completion, develop cost estimates, and manage budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, has at least 3 years of experience in commercial electrical PM, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project management in the commercial sector.
• Proficient in electrical systems and knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met and potential issues are anticipated and addressed.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best possible terms.
• Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical systems and construction management.
