Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager in Metairie, LA to lead commercial electrical projects from design through execution. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and coordination with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of electrical PM experience, with strong leadership and safety/code knowledge. PTO and 401k are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project management in the commercial sector.
• Proficient in electrical systems and codes, safety standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers to meet requirements and anticipate issues.
• Monitor progress, keep on schedule and within budget, adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop relationships with vendors and subcontractors and negotiate contracts.
• Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.
• Stay updated with trends and best practices in electrical systems and construction management.
