Job summary

Lighting Maintenance Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager / Estimator to estimate and manage commercial lighting projects across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. The role runs from site visits through estimating, proposals, award, scheduling, construction, and closeout.

Projects range from $25,000 to $500,000, with some larger jobs. The candidate will review plans, develop scopes, prepare proposals, and manage budget, staffing, and equipment while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical construction estimating or project management experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, and photometric plans.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and customer requirements.
• Develop complete project scopes from site visits or bid documents.
• Estimate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs with accuracy.
• Prepare clear proposals, exclusions, qualifications, and alternates.
• Develop budgets, schedules, purchasing plans, staffing needs and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate field crews, materials, permits, inspections, and subcontractors.
• Provide field personnel with clear scopes, plans, budgets, and expectations.
• Manage projects through award, scheduling, construction, and closeout.
