Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. This role focuses on preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects by analyzing drawings, specs, and pricing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Trimble Accubid v16. Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within commercial construction.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Trimble Accubid v16 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to develop labor and material estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and price equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date cost databases.
