Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electrical estimating experience for commercial construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of NEC and applicable codes.
• Experience with bid preparation and change orders.
• Familiarity with project management and estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Perform electrical take-offs and develop comprehensive bid packages.
• Utilize knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) to ensure compliance in all projects.
• Manage change orders and communicate changes or potential risks to the project manager promptly.
• Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Regularly review and update estimates, taking into account any changes in materials, labor, or other factors.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations as needed.
