Stinson LLP seeks an experienced patent agent to join the patent prosecution group within our Intellectual Property and Technology Division. You will draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications and provide patentability assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.
• Minimum five years in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Experience managing patent prosecution docket and ownership of applications.
• Collaboration with partners, admins, and docketing specialists.
• Law firm or in-house IP experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications.

• Coordinate with foreign firms and clients for filings.
