Job summary

QED in Denver, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to handle customer orders by phone or in person. You will solicit additional products, maintain professional customer relations, and coordinate with credit, warehouse, and management to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery.

The role requires strong math and communication skills, familiarity with pricing systems, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.
• Strong communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Ability to perform math functions for pricing, discounts and taxes.
• Proficiency with company pricing systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from customers by phone or in person.
• Solicit sale of new or additional products.
• Maintain positive customer relations and professional etiquette.
• Coordinate between customers and internal departments (credit, warehouse, sales, management).
• Identify customer needs and pricing options based on catalog and references.
• Provide quotes and estimates of prices, terms and delivery.
