Job summary

Eaton seeks a Production Assembler for its ES AMER ARS division. The role pays $22 per hour with eligibility for a variable incentive program and offers benefits from day one, including health coverage and vacation time.

Hours are 6:30AM to 3PM, with overtime opportunities and prospects for cross-training within departments. The ideal candidate has at least one year in assembly or a one-year technical diploma, and can work with hand and power tools to assemble and test electrical components.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role with hand/power tools or a one-year Technical School diploma.
• No relocation benefit is offered; reside within 50 miles of the work location.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specifications.
• Wire electrical assemblies using diagrams and schematics; follow safety and 5S guidelines.
• Maintain progress and report part shortages or issues.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and support lean initiatives.
