Job summary

Apex Plumbing Solutions, Inc. in Kentucky seeks an Electrical Operations Manager to lead the Electrical Department, drive schedules, oversee installation and troubleshooting, and ensure code-compliant workmanship. The role requires strong leadership, field experience, and NEC mastery.

You will mentor technicians, manage estimates and service upgrades, and coordinate with dispatch and other departments to maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, trade license as noted.
• Minimum 5 years electrical field experience preferred.
• Valid Kentucky Journeyman Electrician License; Master license preferred.
• Ability to manage technicians, scheduling, quality control, and customer issues.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, safety practices, and NFPA 70E where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and hold electricians and apprentices accountable for performance, safety, workmanship, and customer service.
• Review schedules and coordinate with Dispatch for technician assignments.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in various settings.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, Kentucky requirements, and company standards.
• Review estimates, projects, and service upgrades; approve major electrical work.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and address callbacks or complaints.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, revenue, and customer satisfaction; conduct regular meetings and coaching.
• Train technicians on technical skills, safety, and company expectations.
• Document jobs, estimates, invoices, photos, and approvals in ServiceTitan.
