Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Kittery, Maine, seeks an Operations Supervisor to support the Alteration Industrial Team. You will supervise Manufacturing Technicians and provide daily direction and technical guidance to a multi-discipline crew, ensuring work aligns with Ship’s Drawings, Work Procedures, and Company Policies.

The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of Electrical Systems, 5+ years electrical experience, and the ability to travel to off-site locations for submarine

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Must be able and willing to travel to off-site locations for submarine maintenance and modernization work; travel could be up to one year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Manufacturing Technicians and provide daily directions and technical assistance to a multi-discipline crew.
• Ensure work is performed per Ship’s Drawings, Work Procedures and Company Policies.
• Contribute to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and continuous improvement goals; manage manufacturing paperwork (e.g., Work Orders, TGIs, DFs).
