The role emphasizes safety leadership, program execution, and continuous improvement, with accountability for schedule, budget, and quality while developing staff and coordinating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Electrical Design or related field required or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship program alternate with relevant leadership experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in engineering/design leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Electrical Design team to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Provide technical guidance and drive cross-team communication and continuous improvement.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate team members; manage staffing levels.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Production to support program objectives.
• Maintain safety leadership and ensure ergonomic and Shipyard safety compliance.
• Communicate progress and metrics at management reviews.
