Job summary

Power Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead design-phase activities for the electrical scope across multiple projects. You will oversee evaluation, design development, cost analysis, trade partner selection, constructability review, quality control, and commissioning planning to align with the owner’s vision and project objectives.

You will also manage the integrated project team, drive schedule and budget alignment, and act as the primary liaison with owners,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in construction engineering, architectural engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in construction or pre-construction, GC/MEP background preferred.
• Experience with data center, healthcare, or industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of electrical system options and life-cycle cost impacts.
• Review electrical designs for sizing, interfaces, constructability, and logistics.
• Coordinate programming, conceptual design, and value engineering for MEP disciplines.
• Integrate 3D/4D modeling into electrical design and preconstruction planning.
• Prepare and present electrical/MEP budget estimates from schematic/program data.
• Mentor design-phase team members and track progress against milestones.
