Dialectic, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer Team Lead to manage electrical staff and guide the design process for MEP projects across business, retail, housing, education, and entertainment sectors.

The role requires hands-on leadership, quality design reviews, and client-facing collaboration to deliver innovative electrical systems. You will evaluate project requirements, apply codes, and coordinate with BIM, project management, and other disciplines, while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or certification in engineering with 10+ years of experience or equivalent.
Moderate REVIT/AutoCAD and office software proficiency.
Strong understanding of local codes and amendments and ability to apply them to design calculations.
Familiarity with building structures and MEP systems and their interactions.

Responsibilities

Oversee Electrical staff, provide guidance and direction to ensure accurate technical drawings.
Lead design efforts and review complex electrical solutions for clients.
Prepare high-quality design drawings using Revit/AutoCAD per project standards.
Perform load calculations and electrical system design analyses; select equipment and complete energy compliance forms.
Coordinate with other disciplines, BIM, and project management; attend client meetings.
Support talent acquisition and staff development initiatives with HR.
