Job summary

Dematic in Fairburn, GA seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Storage Retrieval Machines, conveyors, and automated systems. Shifts include Wednesday 11am–5pm, Thursday/Friday 5am–5pm, and alternating weekends with overtime as needed.

The role requires 2–3 years of electro-mechanical experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness for multi-shift coverage.

Qualifications

2–3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Niche skill training/certification preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long hours.
Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, adjustments, lubrication.
Complete preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuits.
Build and close work orders with detailed labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
Respond to service calls and address equipment faults.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
