Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician for Plant 3 on 3rd shift to support Plant Engineering in controls, troubleshooting, and optimization of equipment. The role partners with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades, and external contractors to ensure reliable operations and project success.

The candidate should have an engineering/technical background with PLC/HMI experience, strong wiring/SCADA knowledge, and hands-on experience with industrial automation.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electrical field with 3+ years in maintenance or manufacturing.
Alternatively 10+ years in equipment build/maintenance and PLC control systems.
Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in controls systems, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Support PLC/HMI systems and capital improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades, and contractors.
