Job summary

Dematic Beech Island, SC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 to handle day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The role is full-time, 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work.

In this role you will repair and maintain MHE, perform belt tracking and lubrication, complete preventive routines with proper documentation, and create/close work orders in the asset management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational-technical training preferred.
• Lift/move material up to 50 pounds; overhead work possible.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching above/below waist.
• Occasional push/pull of dollies up to 100 pounds.
• Good dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Able to climb ladders and gangways safely.
• Work may include dust, fumes, heat/cold, noise, and uneven surfaces.
• Must stand/walk 10–12 hours; shifts/holidays may vary.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of MHE, belt tracking, and lubrication.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines with documentation.
• Create/close work orders in asset management with labor data and parts used.
• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and resolve faults.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and fix faults.
• Identify problems and take appropriate corrective steps.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships across the org.
